Special Promotions
Time limited promotions pop up all the time for many purposes such as to introduce new offers or to promote an existing line of products in a new way.
Before the internet became the main channel of advertising this was sometimes done with booklets that could be an interesting format of design with photography.
Nectar
This was a limited time offer which in this case was two for one points on a popular loyalty card. I was asked to use twins for the purpose and given the situations that the art director required.
I cast the models and the shoot was over several days in and around London. As sometimes happens I never saw the finished result with the branding applied.
Zanders Paper Company
I was commissioned by Roundel Design, London in 1997 to make pictures for a special booklet to promote their papers all based around the vaguely space age/ rocketship theme.
One was 3 whites, where the designers were inspired by my personal project pictures of older women and asked me to find three older ladies with white hair. They were playing cards with a Star Trek deck.
